Our Technical Controller needs a strong number 2 and we are rather hoping this might be you!
This means you will be working as the deputy for the technical controller and be responsible for implementing technical standards.
It is a senior customer facing job and technical management of Waitrose account is a core responsibility.
The role involves looking after technical and quality assistants and day hygiene team.
Excellent levels of interpersonal skills together with experience in chilled food manufacturing are fundamental requirements of this role.
A degree in a related subject is also required.

We're famous for our quality
The Charlie Bighams brand is famous for its great taste and fantastic quality. But this does not happen by accident. We have a team of individuals who spend time in our kitchens making sure that we would be so proud of each and every dish that we would happily serve it to our Mums!
We currently have room in this team for one more!
You will be working alongside the current Technical Assistants and involved with ensuring Bighams food is fantastic. Your strengths will be a high level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail. The role involves a large amount of paperwork and computer skills are essential. The role may involve shift work in near future.
Must have:
1- Ability to taste all Bighams products
2- Good Microsoft office skills
3- Good level of spoken and written English
4- Food manufacturing experience
Desirable:
1- Any experience of high risk products
2- related qualifications
