Dare to be different!

Are you a recent graduate who is wondering if following the herd in to the personality free zone of big business is for you? If so, we may just be able to help. At Bighams we run a rather unconventional graduate scheme (it is unconventional because we are small enough for you to actually learn how a business works). The scheme is ideal for those who have a passion for food and want to make a real and immediate difference in a small and dynamic company.
PS We also do 3 month placements...

Our Moroccan Lamb has been one of our most popular dishes for nearly a decade. Why not take a moment and see what the Hairy Bikers made of the eclectic cuisine of North Africa.

As you might have noticed we have recently redone our packaging and at the same time given our website a thorough going over. Part of the overhaul involves me doing a regular update – the idea being you’ll see something new virtually every time you visit us. I’d love to know what you think – please give me the thumbs up if I’m on the right track or the thumbs down if I’m not!

So what am I going to write about? Well I love food and one of the great things about my job is that I spend most of my time thinking about it, tasting it, cooking it, generally enjoying it and, of course, eating it. I occasionally also like to have the odd rant about some issue to do with food. Overall though, as a food lover I reckon I’ve got one of the best jobs in the world. So I thought I’d try and share a bit of it with you and with a bit of luck stimulate the odd bit of feedback or even a debate or two.

Please let me know what you think and if you’ve got something you think I should know about, drop me an e-mail – charlie@bighams.com

Thanks,
