We've got a new look and we would love to know what you think.

Like a good spring clean, it's out with the old and in with the new. Our first decision was to get rid of plastic trays as we are very keen to help do our bit to save the planet.

Meet the Team

At Bigham's all our food is hand-made using fresh ingredients every day. People are very important to Bigham's, lots of people say it but we mean it, people are our biggest asset. So, now I would like to introduce you to a selection of us and a brief description of what we do...

Madalene

I'm Madalene & from the picture you can no doubt spot I'm one of the chefs. I find fresh baking therapeutic & the rest of the office seem to be hooked on the output. My evenings are certainly no longer my own with all sorts of cake & muffin requests!

Guy

Hi! My name’s Guy and I’m the Commercial Director at Bighams. This means that I get involved in loads of different bits of the business, from developing the Charlie Bighams brand all the way through to find interesting new customers to work with. So if you know someone who is having trouble sourcing fantastic hand made food that is crafted with pride give me a call.

Poupak

I'm Poupak and as Technical Manager I look after all aspects of food safety. It is my job to make sure that all our fantastic food leaves our kitchens in tip top condition.

Helen

I'm Helen, I'm a wee leprechaun from Ireland & support Liverpool FC. As well as being the HR officer at Bigham's, I'm also the co-ordinator of all fantasy football / cricket / rugby leauges, or anything that can involve a 'book' (all trades being red wine)

Yim

Hi there, I am Yim. I have been working for Bigham's for 8 years! There is not much I don’t know about Bigham's food preparation, especially the intricate foods we make for our restaurant customers.

Helen

Hello, I’m Helen the NFD Manager here at Bigham’s so I have the pleasure of following new food ideas through from concept to launch. Naturally, I get to eat lots of great food so thank goodness I have the opportunity to burn it off playing in a women’s 5 a side league with some of the other girls at Bigham’s. We enjoy playing in a team so much we’re taking part in a rowing regatta later in the year but this time we get to take on the boys!

Boris

I'm Boris, the head of operations, looking after quality, food safety & efficiency. You don’t have to be crazy about food to work at Bigham’s but it helps! I love fresh fish & every year I go to France & fish high in the mountains to catch my lunch! I have a passion for other creatures too; when I came to England I introduced some wildlife to my garden with French snails!

Charlie

Hi, I’m Charlie. I was originally inspired by my travels around the world & started creating from my kitchen 10 years ago. Bigham's has grown a bit since then but the business continues to follow day one principles. I spend a lot of my days chatting to the team ensuring that everyone is happy & of course tasting all of our food ensuring it is of the highest quality!

Jamie

Hi, I'm Jamie, purchasing manager, in charge of sourcing suppliers & ingredients. I was born in Scotland overlooking Kilmarnock Football Ground & tend to play a pretty active part in the Bigham’s Burns Night celebrations - including coming to work in a kilt! I also play a large part in wine tasting evenings (as demonstrated in picture) & spent some time in Bordeaux picking & treading on grapes a few years ago.
